Dick Lyle Nominated For Sport BC Award

An active member and ambassador of British Columbia Golf for over 25 years, Mr. Lyle will be honoured at Sport BC's 46th Annual Athlete of the Year Awards presented by Telus and taking place at River Rock Show Theatre in Richmond on March 8th 2012.

Over his tenure with the British Columbia Golf Association, Lyle has been a non-playing captain of 4 different Junior Boys' Interprovincial Team competitions, an official at over 100 provincial championships and has created a reputation of being a course and slope rating industry leader, visiting essentially every course in BC on at least one occasion to showcase his skills.

As part of the ceremony, Lyle will be honoured with fellow BC Golf members Kevin Kwan (Junior Male Athlete of the Year) and Jisoo Keel (Junior Female Athlete of the Year) as potential recipients for awards in their sport categories.

Sport BC's annual awards ceremony showcases the successes and hard work of athletes, coaches and officials in their performance and contribution to sport in British Columbia.
