The Canadian Junior Golf Association has announced the hiring of a new Tournament Director for the province of British Columbia.
Brad Ewart will begin his tenure with CJGA by overseeing operations in B.C. and continuing to grow on what the CJGA calls its six stage competitive development program.
A father of two, Ewart has been involved in the golf industry in BC for more than 25 years, was the host of a television show called The Golf Show Great Golf Destinations, was a competitive amateur player in BC and has been an advocate of junior golf for many years
"The CJGA is widely recognized as one of the leading junior golf organizations in the game," said Ewart. "It's exciting to be part of the CJGA team and have a chance to make a positive impact on Canadian Junior Golf."
"Brad has shown his passion for the game and junior golf through his involvement with the Optimist Junior Linkster Tour," said Brad Parkins, Chief Operations Officer of the CJGA. "Brad brings a great deal of knowledge and expertise to our program in the province of British Columbia."
