The new Galvin Green Spring/Summer Collection released this month combines advanced materials and innovative design in a holistic approach that takes the company's "Multi-Layer Concept" to an entirely new level for 2012.
The focus is on optimizing the way in which the various layers work together to provide the highest quality protection and performance. Function, comfort and mix-and-match options are more developed than ever before, says Jonathan Wong, President of Galvin Green Canada.
"The Galvin Green brand is gaining recognition and golfer awareness right across Canada. We're seeing more and more golfers asking for it in their pro shops," Jonathan says. "Despite the early season rain, which probably helped sales, 2011 has been a great year and we expect that to continue into 2012."
Jonathan is excited to see expanded collections, a better variety of colour combinations for merchandising in shops and is committed to improving Galvin Green Canada's customer service experience.
Galvin Green's advanced Limited Edition series is introducing four-way stretch technology to its WINDSTOPPER® jacket BOW and GORE-TEX® Performance Shell jacket ARCH.
The new stretch fabric improves the garment's flexibility and comfort while retaining the same breathability and high-performance windproof and waterproof properties.
The Limited Edition series also sees the launch of innovative body mapping technology in the INSULA range. DUSTIN is a warming pullover using different types of INSULA material in different parts of the garment.
Enhanced breathability combines with high material durability to effectively protect exposed body areas.
Galvin Green's Limited Edition series is also offering for the first time a VENTIL8 short sleeve shirt. MILLS is manufactured using an advanced Jacquard technique which incorporates various ventilation zones into the material. The advantage of this technique is that the same material can be used in the entire garment, making it soft and supple throughout. Breathability is adjusted by varying the structure and denseness of the weave.
Jonathan says the comfort and versatility of a WINDSTOPPER® garment makes it virtually indispensable for any golfer. Completely windproof, yet with extremely high breathability, it provides the optimum outer layer in most weather conditions. BURNS is a new men's half zip jacket in a soft, sensitive, light-weight WINDSTOPPER® material, available in several stylish colour combinations.
For ladies Galvin Green is introducing the pullover BEYLA, also in comfortable, light-weight WINDSTOPPER® material. This half zip style has been reintroduced in response to demand for optimum comfort in four different colour combinations.
Jonathan says Galvin Green is committed to its Ladies' Collection and he is looking forward to seeing significant sales growth in this area for 2012 across Canada. Galvin Green's Multi-Layer Concept features as strongly in the Ladies' Collection as in the Men's Collection, fulfilling the same demanding requirements for optimum function and comfort.
New base layer garments in the Compression Technology series have been added to the Ladies' Collection. The Compression 20 base layers ELLA (long sleeve top) and ERIN (leggings) have excellent breathability and moisture transportation properties. Compression Technology stimulates the blood flow and reduces lactic acid build-up in the muscles, which helps boost endurance.
Paclite® shells are already classics. To enable greater opportunity for mixing and matching popular waterproofs with the rest of the collection, AUGUST is now available in Black, Indigo and Flame, while ANNIE comes in Black, White and Indigo.
Jonathan says coordinated colour lines make it easy to mix and match garments from the entire collection. Fashion shades like Curacao, Flame, Wild Rose and Indigo are guaranteed to put the collection, and its wearers, in the sporting spotlight.
