PGA Of BC Award Nominations For 2010

This year's awards program will culminate in a presentation October 14 at the Penticton Trade & Convention Centre in conjunction with the 2010 PGA of BC Trade Show.

Awards are given in the following categories:

· Head Professional of the Year
· Assistant Professional of the Year
· Teacher of the Year
· Junior Promoter of the Year
· Sales Representative of the Year
· Golf Facility of the Year
· Golf Shop of the Year

Two other awards are determined by the Board of Directors:

· Player of the Year
· Patron of the Year

As in previous years, the B.C. zone is made up of four geographic regions:
Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, Interior and Kootenays/North.

Regional Nominating Committees in each of these regions will consider nominations in the various award categories. Each committee will then select a Regional Finalist in each category.

The names of the Finalists along with supporting information will be forwarded to a Final Selection Panel made up of previous winners of the Golf Awards. The panel will determine a winner in each category based on a weighted ballot. Winners will be announced October 14th.

Nominations will be open until midnight Monday, September 6.
Self-nominations are accepted.

Please provide as much information as possible with your nomination. This will assist the Regional Nominating Committees and Final Selection Panel in making their decisions.
