The game of golf played second fiddle to a special event in the life of BC Golf News Vice-President Anita Sharpe on Sunday, August 29, 2010.
Proclaimed as the most important day in her eternal life, Mrs. Sharpe offered her personal testimony, along with four other faithful friends, in a packed morning service at Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Surrey, officiated by Pastor Mika Kostamo. The immersion ceremony was held at Blackie Spit Park on Surrey's Crescent Beach in the waters of the Pacific Ocean.
In her own words, here is Anita's personal Testimony followed by her Baptism

To complete this joyous occasion Pastor Mika Kostamo and Anita Sharpe share a memorable moment with BCGN President Barry Sharpe and Pastor Bob Bahr, who performed a similar service with Barry in 1995.
