Kananaskis Country Golf Course is seeking an ambitious, hardworking assistant superintendent. We are a 36 hole mountain resort golf course located 1 hour west of Calgary and 45 minutes east of Banff in the Rocky Mountains.

The successful candidate will have a formal turfgrass management degree or diploma, be energetic, highly motivated and possess a desire for a career in golf course grounds management.

The individual selected must be able to assist with the daily planning and supervision of a 40 person seasonal work crew. This person shall also help plan and implement all other facets of our maintenance program.

Requirements:

- a minimum of 3 years experience as an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
- must have previous experience with interviewing, hiring and scheduling of personnel
- must have a valid pesticide applicators certificate and experience in applying
- must be an excellent team leader with good communication skills
- must be knowledgeable with all areas of golf course maintenance
