Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club is a private 18 hole golf course with practice facilities located on 162 acres in Vancouver, British Columbia. Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club is once again proud to be hosting the RBC Canadian Open in 2011 after a successful event in 2005.

We are currently looking for a talented Equipment Manager to join our Course Maintenance team.

The Equipment Manager will work closely with the Course Superintendent to maintain a large equipment inventory and produce a successful operation within budget. The successful candidate will have a complete understanding of maintenance, diagnostics and repair of all golf course related equipment. They will be competent in reel mower maintenance, gasoline, diesel, electric and computer systems.

A safe working environment will be a priority and the development of a preventative maintenance program will form the basis to maintain a high level of course conditioning. Parts inventory, ordering and servicing records will be their responsibility and must be accurate and up to date.

The successful applicant will be working in a recently modernized shop and must be reliable, enthusiastic, independent and dedicated to achieving high standards in their work.
