Playing at the Primm Valley GC in Primm, Nevada in a field that included seven of the top 16 programs in the NAIA, Alford produced back-to-back rounds of 2-over par 74 to pace the #10 ranked UBC squad to a 611 (+35) total against their #3 ranked hosts, California Baptist, who finished at 624.

The #8 ranked Concordia University of Oregon claimed third spot at 635 (+59) while #9 ranked Lubbock Christian University came in fourth at 637 and the upstart, unranked California State-San Marcos Cougars surprised one and all by finishing fifth at 640.
