Rain Curtails Round 3 At Candian Q-School

(March 11, 2010)
Persistent rain, which turned the Hernando Oaks Golf Club unplayable, forced officials to suspend the third round of the Canadian Tour's Florida Qualifying School in Booksville Florida Thursday morning.

Texan Vince Jewell was the second round leader at (64-73) 7-under par 137.

When play gets underway Friday morning, 67 players hailing from 15 countries will continue in their pursuit for one of the eight exempt and eight non-exempt cards to be handed at tournaments end. Along with Canada and the U.S., the nations of Mexico, France, Colombia, Japan, Switzerland, Peru, Finland, England, Spain, Chile, Australia, Serbia and Argentina are also represented this week.
