In the first of four cross-Canada PUMA Challenge events organized by the Canadian Junior Golf Association as qualifiers for the CJGA Team to represent Canada at the Junior World Golf Championships, James Fahy of Vancouver and Kevin Vigna and Anica Yoo of Port Coquitlam emerged victorious in their age divisions at Vancouver's University Golf Club.
Fahy won the Boys 15-19 division with a birdie on the second extra hole in a playoff against Cameron Davison of Duncan after both players had finished the 36 hole tournament tied at 3-over par 147.
In the Boys 14 & Under category, Vigna won his division by a three-shot margin while Yoo, finished one shot ahead of Jamie Oleksiew of Surrey to claim the Junior Girls 11-19 age group.
The coveted Junior World Golf Championships in San Diego, CA. will take place in July.
