Bright's Grove Well Represented in Tiger's AT&T -- 16-Year-Old Has A Formula
The only Canadians entered this week in Tiger Woods' AT&T National at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, MD are both from Bright's Grove, Ontario. 2003 Masters Champion Mike Weir, ranked No. 24 in the world among professionals, and 2009 NCAA medalist Matt Hill, the No. 2 ranked Amateur in the world, both posted opening round scores of 1-under 71 and are tied for 55th place in the field of 199 that teed off.
Anthony Kim upstaged tournament host Tiger Woods by shooting 10-under par 62 to take the opening round lead. Woods, Bryce Molder and D.A. Points share second place on the leaderboard at 8-under 64.

Those three tournaments in Mexico that the Canadian Tour postponed in late April and early May because of the virus outbreak will be played later this summer. Canadian Tour Commissioner Rick Janes is hoping to make the official announcement sometime this week or next that the Tour will
return to Mexico to play the San Luis Potosi Open, the IDN Yucatan Country Club Classic in Merida and the Ibereostar Rivera Maya Open.

He's only 16-years-old but Carson Kallis of Red Deer, Alberta has already broken two records playing at Deer Valley Golf and Estates in the RCGA's CN Future Links Prairie Championship in Saskatchewan.
Kallis began the 54-hole tournament with an inauspicious 3-over par 75 but followed that up by breaking the course record the next day with a score of 6-under 66. And when you're hot you're hot because yesterday Kallis broke his own record with an 8-under par 64. His 54-hole total of 11-under par 205 consisted of an eagle, 16 birdies and 31 pars.
His formula for scoring so well seems so simple, as he explained: “Everything came together. I tried to drive well, keep out of trouble and aimed for the middle of the greens.”
