Second Round - Junior America's Cup

Following his first round of one-over 71, Shin tops the Junior America's Cup leaderboard at three-under par 137, played over San Diego's 6,599-yard Annandale Golf Club.

U.S. Junior Amateur Runner-Up Jay Hwang of San Diego also carded a sizzling 66 and has moved up into second place at 139.

Tied for third at even par 140 are co-first round leaders Todd Baek of San Diego and Dylan Stensland of Snohomish, WA with identical scores of 70-70.

In the team competition, San Diego claimed the lead from first round leader British Columbia by two-shots, shooting a team one-under par total of 209. San Diego's low three team scores included Hwang (66), Todd Baek of San Diego (70), and Allan Jun of Oceanside (74). Scores for Team British Columbia included Shin (66), Adam Svenson (73), and Charlie Hughes (73), both of Maple Ridge, BC.

Team Utah is currently in third place at 16-over par, followed by Team Sun Country at 17-over. Host association, Southern California holds fifth place at 20-over par.
