BC Team Sweeps Junior America's Cup Honours

 On the strength of Shin's second round four-under par 66 and a sizzling 65 by Hughes in Thursday's final round, the BC squad—which also included Bryan Lichimo of North Vancouver and Adam Svensson of Maple Ridge—combined for a 54-hole score of 632, two over par over the Annandale Golf Club course in Pasadena, CA.

With a third round tally of five-under 205---based on their three lowest scores--- the BC team finished up eight shots better than second round leader San Diego. The host team of Southern California rallied late with a two-under par team total on day three to move into third place.

Shin, with rounds of 71-66-68, wound up winning the Sally Pini Medalist honour with his five under 205 total, four strokes better than Yuki Kato of Las Vegas, NV.
