When Grant Gray first joined the Professional Golfers' Association of British Columbia 19 years ago his goal was to teach the game and make it fun for his new pupils. Now he's teaching corporate sponsors just how much fun and how valuable the game of golf can be for their businesses, and the students are lining up.
Audio Interview
Sitting on the patio at the City of Burnaby, BC's Riverway Golf Course, watching new corporate sponsors exchanging cards, interacting with potential new business partners and preparing for a round of golf as guests of the PGA of BC, it became evident that Grant Gray's move from the pro shop to the corporate office as Sales and Marketing Coordinator is paying dividends for his new sponsors and the PGA.
The excitement and enthusiasm Grant brings to his new post becomes obvious when you hear him discussing the reception he's receiving from the many friends and contacts who've recently become corporate partners with the PGA of BC.
