Golf All Day At Belmont -- Ian Leggatt At Golf Town Saturday

If you occasionally enjoy dinning at an 'all-you-can-eat' restaurant than you'll probably love what the Belmont Golf Course in Langley is serving up on Thursday, May 28th. It's the 18th Annual Athletes In Action Golf Marathon . . . 100 holes of golf in one day, with a shot gun start at 6 a.m. Every player will be supplied with a golf car, all the balls you'll need and all the food and snacks you can handle.

Speed is the name of the game for this day. By about 3:30 p.m. all players will have completed four rounds, enjoyed a BBQ on the go, and ready for a change of pace. Round five will be a scramble format and your final nine holes or so will be an alternate format. By now, about 7 p.m., you'll be ready for your beverages and a hearty steak dinner followed by the Awards Presentations.

This, of course, is a fund raiser for Athletes In Action. Our good friend Jack O'Halloran of Major Sports Event Host Ministry and Global Community Games writes to say he has an opening for a some partners. If you would enjoy meeting some pro athletes and rubbing shoulders with celebrities from other walks in life give Jack or Bob Kraemer a call (604-484-8629). Time is limited, however, as they say in television land, CALL NOW.
