Dunning Sportswear Signs PGA Tour Star John Rollins
Corporate Release
Leading men's sportswear brand Dunning has announced from their offices in Markham, ON, the addition of PGA Tour star John Rollins to its roster of elite staff players who prefer the company's broad range of premium garments featuring classic tailoring, traditional prep colors and a consistently elegant hand.
Rollins will make his debut in Dunning at this week's Arnold Palmer Invitational at the Bay Hill Club and Lodge in Orlando, FL. As part of the agreement, the 33-year-old will wear Dunning's complete apparel system during all on-course activities and showcase the brand's logo on his shirt sleeve.
"There's a tremendous buzz on Tour about Dunning's performance fabrics," says Rollins. "Not only do the clothes look great, the feel and playability make a huge difference on the course. After competing in the brand's outerwear earlier this season, I was totally convinced."
Currently ranked in the top-10 on the PGA Tour money list, Rollins has already recorded two second-place finishes this season. A native of Richmond, VA, his career earnings surpass $10 million, buoyed by victories at the 2002 Bell Canadian Open and 2006 B.C. Open, as well as 25 other top-10 finishes.
"John is an extremely consistent player who is always looking for ways to elevate his game," says company founder Ralph Dunning. "He's just entering his prime, looks great and is playing the best golf of his career."
Also worn in competition by 2007 Masters champion Zach Johnson, Dunning's distinctive golf collection features clean lines and proper fits crafted from a variety of luxurious natural and performance fabrics. Game-enhancing characteristics -- such as increased airflow, unmatched breathability, moisture wicking, odor resistance and UV protection -- are literally built into the performance textile, guaranteeing they will not wear- or wash-out for the life of the clothing.
The company's diverse sportswear collection features country-club inspired prep staples, such as cotton pique polos, performance woven button downs, extra fine Merino wool sweaters, Pima cotton pullovers, vintage varsity tops and traditional rugby polos, as well as cotton-Coolmax® blended pants and shorts. The line is made to the highest production standards, ensuring complete consistency of quality and fit.
Dunning sportswear is available at world class merchandisers throughout North America, including marquee country clubs and resorts and Golf Town, Canada's premier golf retailer.
