After a one-year hiatus, the Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) will send a team of six juniors to Bela Bela, South Africa next week to compete in match play competition against teams from the South Africa Junior Golf Foundation and the English Golf Union.

The tournament at Zebula Golf & Country Club will run from January 13th to 15th.

The teams will compete in singles and fourball matches in an event that fosters goodwill and sportsmanship between the three countries.

"The team is in for an unbelievable experience in South Africa," admitted John Lawrence, CJGA Managing Director of International Competitions for the CJGA and the non-playing captain. "We expect great competition but to also build lasting relationships with the participating nations."

In addition to the three days of tournament competition, team members will enjoy scenic cultural tours of the host country.

Prior to leaving for South Africa, the team will attend a brief training camp at Glen Abbey Golf Club conducted by CJGA Regional Coach Sean Casey.
