DeCorso & Mills Making A Late Q-School Charge

Canadians Bryan DeCorso and Jon Mills have rebounded back into contention and now sit precariously on the bubble awaiting Monday's sixth and final round of the PGA TOUR qualifying school.

With only the top 25 players and ties eligible to receive playing cards for the 2009 season, DeCorso, a Guelph, ON native, and Mills, from Oshawa, ON, are both tied for 29th place, one shot behind four players sharing the 25th position.

DeCorso, who competed on the Nationwide Tour this season and recorded one victory, shot 7-under par (66-71) on the weekend after a disastrous 76 Friday threatened to wipe out his chances.

Mills, who has campaigned on the PGA TOUR unsuccessfully in 2008 and 2006, also shot 7-under (67-69) his last two rounds and, like Mills, is 13-under.

The leader for the past two rounds is Harrison Frazar at 27-under 333, thanks in large measure to Saturday's sensational score of 13-under 59. His mediocre 2-under 69 today gives Frazar a four shot advantage over the field.

Among the remaining six Canadians teeing off Monday, Dustin Risdin is T77th at 9-under 351 and Jim Rutledge is two strokes further back with an outside chance of retaining his Nationwide playing privileges at the age of 49.
