A pair of Argentinean countrymen have taken over the lead after two rounds of the Argentine Masters which is also a co-sanctioned tournament on the expanded Canadian Tour's International schedule for 2009.

Eduardo Romero of Argentina and countryman Julio Zapata share the lead at six under par 136 after two rounds of the Argentine Masters being played in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Zapata climbed into a share of the lead Friday after firing a four under par 67, while Romero shot his second consecutive 68.
Canadian Stuart Anderson shot a steady 69 on Friday to sit one shot back at 137 alongside Josh McCumber who shot 70, and Christoph Guenther who fired a 68.
Rodolfo Gonzalez (67) and 2007 U.S. Open champion Angel Cabrera, who shot 68, are two shots behind the leaders at four under par 138. Cabrera's son also teed it up this week, however, he missed the cut.
Andres Romero (68) and Cesar Monasterio (67) share eighth spot at 139.
"I played very steady golf today," said Zapata. "With a course as dangerous as this one, I focused on keeping the ball in play and that is what happened."
With five birdies on his bogey-free front nine, it looked for a time that Romero would run away and hide. However, a bogey at the par-3 tenth seemed to take the wind out of his sails and he played the back side in two over.
"I made two big mistakes today," said Romero. "The good thing is that there are two rounds left to go. I think I was a bit unlucky with the putter as I three-putted two greens.
"Anyway, another 68 on my card looks good to me."
For the second consecutive week, it appeared Christoph Guenther would be taking the lead into the weekend.
Standing on No. 16 with a two shot cushion, Guenther drove wildly and double-bogeyed to drop into a tie. He sprayed another tee shot at 17 and made bogey to lose the lead.
First round leader Estanislao Goya, a rookie professional, struggled all day. He birdied the first hole but followed it with three bogeys on the outward half. He regrouped on the inward half and was playing steady golf until disaster struck at No. 16.
It took the 20-year-old three to reach the green after a poor drive and then things went from bad to worse when he four-putted for a triple bogey seven. He lost another stroke by bogeying 17 but rebounded nicely with a closing birdie to shoot 75.
His two under par 140 leaves him in a tie for tenth, one stroke ahead of a group that includes Mike Mezei and Kris Wasylowich.
A group of 70 players made the cut at five over par 147.
