Scotland Preparing for WATC Anniversary

2007 Canadian Amateur Champion Nick Taylor from Abbotsford, British Columbia's Ledgeview Golf Club produced his country's lowest round in three days Saturday to help elevate Team Canada from 17th to 12th place in the Men's World Amateur Team Championship, albeit a staggering 19 strokes behind front running Scotland.

Scotland now holds a four shot cushion over the United States of America going into Sunday's final 18h holes in Adelaide, Australia.

Taylor's six birdie, two bogey effort resulted in a four-under par 68 to help Team Canada post a three round total of two-under 432. However, it is the 21-under par total of 413 recorded by Scotland that has captured the attention of the 65 nations competing for the Eisenhower Trophy on the 50th anniversary of this historic biennial classic.
