Susan Dye of Delamere Forest has a slim one shot lead through 36 holes at nine over par 151 and is eight strokes in front of Canadian Karen Pultz of Surrey and the Peace Portal Golf Club, who is tied for eighth at 17-over 159.
Vancouver's Phyllis Laschuk, at 18-over par 160, is in 12th place after posting a second round of 76 and is one shot ahead of Victoria's Murdoch, the four-time Canadian Senior Women's Amateur champion who won both the Irish and British Senior Women's titles in 2007.
