We got a phone call today from the President of Greenscape Capital to tell us they have acquired Lela Designs, a local Vancouver designer and manufacturer of eco-friendly golf clothing.
Lela Designs is now operating as a wholly owned subsidiary of Greenscape Capital and we couldn't be more pleased. The line is really experiencing rapid growth right now both with recreational golfers and on the LPGA tour.
According to the Lela Designs website the firm creates, manufactures and sells functional, fresh and fashionable apparel in innovative, environmentally-friendly fabrics. The company has also partnered up with Camfed who fights aids in rural communities of Africa through educating young women. A portion from each garment sold will go to Camfed to help further women's rights to have an education.
To learn more about the company, its clothing line and its commitment to eco-friendly and ethical causes such as Camfed go to www.leladesigns.ca.
