1st Round - Canadian Men's Sr. Amateur Championship

The Canadian Senior Championship is open to male amateur golfers who have reached their 55th birthday by September 9, 2008, with the winner being awarded the John Rankin Memorial Trophy.

The Canadian Super Senior Championship, running concurrently over the first 36-holes, is open to male amateur golfers who have reached their 70th birthday by September 9, 2008, with the winner receiving the Governors Cup.

The event will also play host to the Senior Inter-provincial Team Championship, being held in conjunction with the first two rounds of championship play.
