Tobiano named Canada's Latest Best New Course
Before the course raters had toured owner Michael Grenier's picturesque layout overlooking Kamloops Lake in British Columbia's Interior, the Tobiano Resort course that architect Thomas McBroom so creatively designed on the sunny side of a sloping mountain had constantly drawn accolades from guests and golf writers convinced this was surely one of Canada's finest new courses.
Well, it's official now. Tobiano has been acclaimed by no less an authority than ScoreGolf Magazine as the best new course in all of Canada.

The Thomas McBroom-designed Tobiano has been named the Best New Course in Canada for 2008 by SCOREGolf Magazine.

Tobiano was recognized among outstanding new facilities across Canada and the award not only honours Tobiano but signals the emergence of the Kamloops area as one of the nation's finest golf destinations.

The dramatically beautiful par 72 Tobiano is visually stunning. The award-winning McBroom - 11 of his courses are named in SCOREGolf 's Top 100 List for which Tobiano will be eligible in 2010 - transformed a portion of the fabled Six Mile Ranch overlooking Kamloops Lake into both a golfer's and photographer's dream.
