Jack Poole & friend
Jack Poole (right), the driving force behind Canada's 2010 Winter Olympic acquisition, came to enjoy a non-Olympic sport.
Don Griffiths
RCGA Tournament Chairman Don Griffiths. Playing on his home course, the Open set new attendance records.
Big screen was there.
Point Grey became an audio visual experience for discerning golf fans who saw parts of the TSN broadcast right on the course.
JJ's 1st walk
Finishing with birdies at 17 & 18 and Low Canadian in the Open once again, Dawn Coe-Jones took this moment in front of her faithful Canadian fans to invite son Jimmy Jones to take his first 'walk inside the ropes' with his Hall of Fame mother off the 18th green.
DJ & JJ
To the approval of her fans at Point Grey, Dawn Coe-Jones introduced son Jimmy to the atmosphere of a cheering audience for the first time. This scene may well be the last time Dawn appears on an LPGA Tour stage in her home province. Indeed, a proud, deserving moment for mother and son.
Pak & Saiki
Se Ri Pak (left) and Kim Saiki (right) took the race for third right down to the final two holes.
