Dorothy Wilks, Doug Roxburgh and Gale Borthwick won a combined total of seven Canadian championships and 31 BC titles between 1953 and 1996.		 HARRY WHITE

One of a number of outstanding BC golfers and Marine Drive members on hand was Sandy Smith, who has enjoyed close ties with both Doug Roxburgh and Dave Barr.		 ARV OLSON

Arv Olson, retired Vancouver Sun golf and hockey columnist, was a leading force in promoting golf in BC for over 35 years. Author of 'BackSpin: 100 years of golf in BC", Olson still covers provincial finals on behalf of the BCGA.
